Hi and welcome to my blog! I have had a varied and fulfilling career over the last 12 years, specialising in neurological conditions, working in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.

Over the last 2 years I have developed a special interest in concussion rehabilitation after working in a highly effective concussion service in NZ.

Currently in the UK, concussion care seems to be a very underdeveloped area of practice here, which is surprising considering the increased awareness and research into post concussion rehabilitation over the last few years.

As a neuro physio I know first hand that our brains act on a ‘use it or lose it’ philosophy and so I started this blog in part to share what experience and knowledge I have gained over the last couple of years in the hope it may be of interest for those supporting or recovering from concussion and also in part to keep up to date with research and developments in this field.
